Tsipe and Sabrina were at the first G-BIKE COST action meeting in Brussels

On March 8th, Tsipe and Sabrina represented Estonia, together with a delegate from the Estonian Ministry of Environment, in the first meeting of the recently established COST Action "Genomic Biodiversity Knowledge for Resilient Ecosystems" (G-BIKE; @gbike_cost) in Brussels, Belgium. At the meeting, representatives from researchers and practitioners from 31 European countries were present. The COST action aims to develop standardized tools to assess, monitor and manage the genetic resilience of plant and animal populations, and to ultimately integrate genetic and evolutionary knowledge into EU-wide conservation planning policies. For further information, please see the official website under COST framework.
