Media coverage in May

In May, the media continued to introduce the greenmeter and the cowslip campaign. In the May issue of Eesti Loodus (in Estonian), Sigrid Ots wrote about what the greenmeter is. The greenmeter was also introduced by the extra paper of Raplamaa Sõnumid called Rohelised Sõnumid (in Estonian). The local newspaper of Jõgeva County, Vooremaa (in Estonian), was interested in the cowslip campaign, where it was called upon to observe the cowslips of its county. Both Novaator (in Estonian) and Postimees (in Estonian) covered the expansion of the coslip campaign to Latvia, and Tsipe went to Kuku Radio (in Estonian) to talk more about the campaign. At the end of the month, the popularity of cowslips caught the eye of the Eesti Express's Guud, bääd & nädala sõna section (in Estonian). In May, Aveliina managed to also talk about mowing in the podcast of the Estonian Museum of Natural History (in Estonian) and comment on the European Commission's biodiversity strategy until 2030 on the Metsamajandusuudised.ee (in Estonian) portal.
