On October 18, the composition of an expert group set up within the Steering Committee for Green Policy was appointed to make proposals to the government on the socially responsible implementation of climate policy. One of the members of the expert group is Aveliina. It also includes several entrepreneurs, researchers, innovation leaders and top specialists in other fields: Tõnis Arjus, Ivar Dembovski, Marti Hääl, Arno Kütt, Priit Lepasepp, Taavi Madiberk, Margus Muld, Marek Rannala, Helen Sooväli-Sepping, Anne Sulling, Madis Toomsalu, Eva Truuverk and Ants-Hannes Viira.
The expert group will analyze the know-how related to the green economy that has already emerged in Estonia, as well as the goals and basic principles related to green policy, map existing and forthcoming measures, activities and resources, obstacles and gaps, and try to suggest ways to successfully overcome difficulties and measure progress effectively.
