SERE2024 has been awarded the 2024 Conference Achievement of the Year Award in Estonia

The Estonian Convention Bureau’s Conference Deed of the Year 2024 award in Tartu was presented to the European Conference on Ecological Restoration (SERE2024). Held in late August last year, the SERE2024 brought 673 delegates from 47 countries to Tartu. It stood out for its duration, a large number of international participants and represented countries, diverse program, and innovative organizational solutions.

"A huge thank you to each and every one of you for contributing to the fun, warm and knowledge-filled atmosphere of the conference. We have so fond memories of these days in Tartu, we miss you a lot and hope to see everyone soon either here, there or everywhere!" said the main organizer, the Professor of Restoration Ecology Aveliina Helm.

The conference was organised by the European Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration, the University of Tartu and the Estonian Seminatural Community Conservation Association.
