On May 19-20, Frans Timmermans, the vice-president responsible for the green revolution of the European Commission, visited Estonia. Part of her visit was a discussion with forestry and LULUCF stakeholders, where several scientists and interest group representatives, including Aveliina, participated. There was a lot of discussion about deforestation and the role of forestry in the biodiversity and climate crisis.
