Students defended their theses

On June 1, students from our work group virtually defended their theses in Department of Botany. Elina Kambrimäe defended her bachelor's thesis on "Lanscape restoration". Her supervisor was Krista Takkis. Linda Pall, supervised by Elisabeth Prangel and Aveliina Helm, defended her master's thesis on "Recovery of functional and species diversity of vascular plants on restored alvars in western Estonia". Under the supervision of Aveliina, Linda Suurmets also defended her master's thesis on the topic “The practice of using natural seed mixtures in the restoration of grassland plant communities” and Mirjam Võsaste on the topic “Ecological connectivity and biodiversity support in urban green areas of Tartu”.
