Polina Degtjarenko
Minu senine teadustöö on keskendunud samblike uurimisele. Doktorantuuri ajal olen uurinud, kuidas tolmusaaste mõjub boreaalsetele metsakooslustele, täpsemalt, taimedele, sambliku-, sambla- ja vetikakooslustele mändidel. Hiljem olen tegelenud samblike populatsioonide geneetilise mitmekesisusega kasutades mikrosatelliite. Uurisin vars-habesambliku Eesti populatsioonide geneetilist struktuuri ning vars- ja õis-habesambliku populatsioonide geneetilist eristamist. Osalen samblike Eesti punase nimestiku uuendamisel ja Läti punase nimestiku koostamisel. Olen TÜ ja Eesti Looduseuurijate Seltsi poolt väljaantava rahvusvahelise teadusajakirja Folia Cryptogamica Estonica peatoimetaja. Viin läbi õppetööd (Kaitstavate loodusobjektide praktikum, Fungistika välipraktika, Bioloogia ning elustiku kaitse erialaseminar) ning tegelen aktiivselt samblikuteaduse populariseerimisega.
Maastike Elurikkuse töörühmas hakkan peamiselt tegelema niitude ja puisniitude taastamise ning Tartu linnalooduse projektidega. Samuti teen laboritöid.
