Aveliina participated in the discussion between scientists in the Estonian Public Broadcasting television program "UV faktor", where the topics focused on sustainable forest management, logging volumes, and biodiversity and climate targets. Discussion was led by Urmas Vaino and in addition to Aveliina, participants included the researcher of sustainable forestry Raul Rosenvald from the University of Tartu, senior research fellow Allan Sims and director of Institute of Forestry and Engineering Marek Metslaid from the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
