As a management committee member representing Estonia, Tsipe participated in the kick-off meeting of the recently established COST Action “ConservePlants: An integrated approach to conservation of threatened plants for the 21st Century” in Brussels on October 15. The COST Action network, which currently involves 33 countries, aims to improve plant conservation by combining expertise from different fields of plant sciences - plant taxonomy, ecology, conservation genetics, conservation physiology - but also knowledge from social sciences. In addition, conservation practitioners are very welcome to participate in the network activities. The activities of ConservePlants will take place until 2023.
