Cowslip campaign is taking place this year as well!

The citizen science campaign “Estonia is looking for cowslips”, which took place for the first time last spring and went very well, will continue this year as well. Tsipe and Silvia Lotman from the Estonian Fund for Nature write more about the results of the analysis of the data collected last year in Novaator (in Estonian). Based on the collected data, it can be concluded that cowslips are affected by the loss of meadow habitats. In order to find new habitats, collect new data, and to better see what changes are happening with cowslips in different years, we will continue the campaign this year as well. We invite everyone to participate! Participation is suitable for everyone. Find out more at www.nurmenukk.ee.

NB! When observing cowslips, be sure to follow the rules of the emergency situation!
