Aveliina interviewed by forestry journal

Journal by Estonian Forest Management Centre ‘Metsamees’ (Forester) published an article (in Estonian) focusing on science and conservation messages by Aveliina Helm. Article discussed land-use change, loss of habitats suitable for a long-term persistence of different species and the importance of biodiversity for humans. Aveliina believes that it is possible to find a balance between the needs of people and the preservation of nature, but it needs future-oriented political decisions and implementation of evidence-based solutions. Moreover - every one of us can contribute to the preservation of biodiversity by taking actions that benefit other species.
