On July 28, Kristiina met with OÜ Piira Talu in Lääne-Virumaa. Piira Talu is interested in joining the project ForEst&Farmland. In cooperation between agricultural producers and researchers from the University of Tartu, sample areas will be established during the project, where the impact of various agroecological techniques on yield and biodiversity will be monitored. OÜ Piira Talu is interested in establishing lark patches, grassland strips and fruit trees to divide the landscape. In addition to potential project areas, they maintains grasslands by grazing.
