Iris went to Summer School in France

Our PhD student Iris went to ALTER-Net Summer School in France from 21st to 31st of August. The topic of the summer school was ecosystem services and biodiversity and it took place in a small village Peyresq in the Alps. One part of the summer school was a groupwork project that included an introduction to the surrounding environment and talking to different stakeholders in the area. The purpose of the project was to present a sustainable vision of the future of the region and to give recommendations to policy makers how to achieve it. In addition to the project itself the summer school included poster presentations and many lectures about different topics to support the project.
