On September 3, a joint seminar was held between our workgroup and the Macroecology workgroup. This time, due to the plethora of screens, we tried to do a seminar without screens. We discussed the latest research trends in our fields and in what direction we could move, what are the latest methods and data types that are used and what we could use, and how we can make our workgroups more efficient and collaborative at different levels. The seminar was very successful and with a lively discussion. The lack of screens was definitely refreshing and helped generate new ideas.
