A webinar invited local governments to discuss how to enhance biodiversity in solar parks

The Estonian Fund for Nature (ELF) organized a webinar and workshop where representatives of local governments gathered to delve into biodiversity issues in solar parks.

The researcher of Restoration Ecology at The University of Tartu Krista Takkis, shared insights into biodiversity in solar parks, Ingrid Nielsen from ELF presented experiences from other countries. Local governments representatives discussed current practices among themselves, seeking better solutions for the future. The discussion focused on the approaches local governments can take to promote more environmentally friendly solutions in solar parks and the opportunities that could be most beneficial for future use.
