I'm a 1st year master student and my main biological interest is plants. I also did my bachelor thesis in the landscape biodiversity workgroup. The topic was "Natural pest control and the promotion of beneficial organisms in sustainable agricultural landscapes" and the supervisors were Krista Takkis and Kristiina Jürisoo.
The topic of the master's thesis is "The effect of the overgrowth of wooded meadows on the functional diversity of plants" and the supervisors are Krista Takkis and Triin Reitalu. The plan is to study how the functional diversity of plants differs in unrestored, restored and overgrown or forested wooded meadows in a comparison of different spatial scales. The work is related to the WoodmeadowLIFE project.
