On August 10, Aveliina introduced Tartu urban nature initiatives to the participants of the Environmental Education Summer Academy organized by the Tartu Nature House and the Estonian Environmental Education Association. On a walk in the Raadi nature reserve, Estonian environmental education specialists, led by representatives of the University of Tartu and the Estonian Seminatural Community Conservation Association, familiarized themselves with the biodiversity initiatives carried out in Tartu, the soon-to-be-started restoration plans for Raadi's valuable meadow communities, and practiced creating an environmental education learning path.
