On 2.-3. August, a meeting of WoodMeadowLIFE project experts took place in Saaremaa. The wooded meadows of the Kaarma storage area and Võrsna storage area selected for the project were visited, and on site it was discussed which trees and bushes should be kept during the restoration works in order to create a structure typical of the wooded meadow. The importance and complexity of landscape elements in maintenance work were also discussed. Aveliina, Kristiina and Elisabeth participated from our workgroup.
