Katariina Kuusaru

I am the Communications Specialist at the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Land Use, also known as FutureScapes. I manage the centre’s social media, communicate with the media, and ensure that the centre’s activities are visible. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and biodiversity conservation, with a minor in communication. I also have practical experience in communication—I have completed internships in communication at two major Estonian companies and led a public awareness campaign in Tartu to improve urban habitat conditions for hedgehogs.
