I am a second-year master’s student interested in how landscape changes and human factors influence biodiversity, especially in traditional habitats such as wooded meadows. The topic of my master’s thesis is “The motivation of wooded-meadow managers and the sustainability of management in Estonia,” supervised by Triin Reitalu and Maie Kiisel. The thesis focuses on the sources of motivation for wooded-meadow managers and the factors influencing the sustainability of management in Estonia, in order to better support the development of effective and long-term conservation and management policies. The work is part of the WoodmeadowLIFE project.
