Elisabeth and Aveliina went to RMK Nature Protection Conference in Pärnu

Our workgroup members Aveliina and Elisabeth attended to a RMK Nature Protection Conference from 4th-5th November in Pärnu and shared their research results. Aveliina talked about the opportunities and threats in everyone’s nature protection and together with Kaupo Kohv from RMK about nature-based solutions. ”Elisabeth talked about how restoration efforts affect the biodiversity and ecosystem services of alvar grasslands. Additionally, we were represented in the poster session with Elisabeth’s poster on how overgrowing and restoration of grasslands affect the biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and provision of ecosystem services.
